BIBLE STUDY TEACHINGS FOR YOUR EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN WALK!

Bible Study is about knowing the will of God. The Center Cross Baptist Church sees the Bible as authored by God for the purpose of salvation and is the standard by which all human conduct is judged.   

We will approach Bible Study from three perspectives: 

Understanding the Bible – What it is. Where it came from. What is its' purpose, etc. God used many vessels (writers) to pour (breathe) His revelation into however, from the beginning, God's intent was to use the Bible to reveal Himself to mankind.

Exploring the Bible – God built His revelation as a continuing saga from eternity to eternity with many stops and signposts along the way. Every one of the sixty-six books that make up the Bible has a portion of the journey to tell. We will explore as many of those books as God allows us time to investigate.

Applying the Bible – God’s revelation to man is not just to provide us knowledge about Him but also to tell us of His will for us. His will for us is basically about how we are to live.  God used His Apostles as vessels to breathe His instructions for holy living into. The New Testament of the Bible is all about how the children of God are to live their lives.

We intend to present on-going teachings in the perspectives just mentioned. These teachings will be given in 45-minute segments as the Holy Spirit guides. The segments will be accessible under the related tabs on the home screen and none of them are given for scholastic purposes. It is not our intent to produce theologians, scholars, or anything of that nature. The teachings are wholly given to help Believers to walk in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. All the materials I use in these teachings are commonly available and do not represent particular methodologies. Things I have studied and learned from have coalesced into my personal methods of study and application of God’s Word.
